Citizenship Testing at The English Academy

The course is enjoyable and informative and contains citizenship material.

The certificate is a 'Skills for Life' qualification in speaking and listening and citizenship at Entry Level, which is exactly what the Home Office (UK Border Agency) require.

The course is made up of speaking and listening tasks (no reading or writing).

The price of the course is £250 and this includes

• An assessment test
• The on the last day of the course with refreshments provided
• ESOL Speaking and Listening and Citizenship Test
• Feedback Sheet and Certificate for successful candidates
• An Accrediation form provided for the Home Office (UKBA)

About the course

• On day 4 the ESB examiner (approved by the Home Office, UKBA) attends our school and tests the students
• We normally receive the results within 2/3 working days and we telephone the results personally to each student.
• After passing the ESOL (Skills for Life) speaking and listening exam, you will receive your certificate within 2/3 weeks.
• With your certificate and accreditation form provided by The English Academy, you may then apply to the Home Office (UKBA) for;
1. Indefinite leave to remain in the U.K.
2. Naturalization
3. British nationality/passport application
